In July 2010, a group of seventeen staff and friends have agreed to climb the highest
freestanding mountain in the world. Kilimanjaro stands at 5985m tall and the 7 day trek
will take the challengers through different climatic zones and involve strenous trekking at
high altitude. We have also pledged to raise a target amount of£36,727 to kick start
our campaign to create the Ultimate Sensory Play Area for our School. All
monies raised from these group events will go directly to the Parents and Friends of
Ashgrove School (PFA). Please check the notice board to find out about future events.
If you would like to join us, or if you can help in any other way we would love to hear
from you.
